How tuition works

The figures are on our enrollment page and we go through them with you. This page is about what sets them and how it all works.

  • Tuition is set by the program you choose, the teen class or the adult classes, and by how many classes a week you train. You can train at one sparring step or all three. The current figures are on the enrollment page, and we go through them at your first class.

    • Teen or adult program

    • Classes a week

    • Sparring classes with fundamentals or on their own

  • Registration

A one-time joining fee covers your enrollment file and your first belt, and a uniform if you choose one. It is due when you join.

  • Billing

Membership is billed monthly. You can pay by card each month or set up autopay on the enrollment page. A class pack is paid when you buy it.

  • Help with tuition

Ask us whether a payment plan or a scholarship is open this month. We answer in writing.

  • Your first term is three months, then membership runs month to month. To stop, tell us in writing and give 30 days' notice. You pay for the month in progress and nothing after the notice ends. Ask us how to pause for travel or an injury.

  • Missed classes and make-ups

If you miss a class, come to another class at the same step that week. Pausing for travel, illness or an injury is a conversation, not a form: tell the front desk.

  • Uniforms, gear and other costs

Beyond membership there are a uniform, belt tests and the sparring gear you choose to buy. The front desk lists each one and what it is for before you pay.

    • Uniform and first belt

    • Belt tests

    • Your own sparring gear
